Sweet little Taubers CHP - but is it too small?

What do you think I should do with this Tauber's?

  • Too small, pass it on, you are not Joey Ramone

I got this 60/70s Taubers CHP for a song (due to size, probably), on the outside chance that it'd fit. No size label, but it is probably a vintage 38. It fits, but barely. Zipped up it is very tight with laces wide open. Too tight, in fact, unless I lose 7-10 lbs. Unzipped it's okay. Shoulder room is borderline okay. Sleeves are borderline okay. Jacket is sooo cool. The steerhide is substantial but soft, all zippers original and work, massive #10 main Talon is original. You know I want to keep it, but I'd love Lounge's input, both by posts and in the attached poll. Sorry about crappy garage pics but it was 10F outside, lol. Unzipped pics first:

If it feels too tight stand by for a larger one. They do pop up, especially the later decades. I would go for an earlier HH one.

Super cool jacket but it does look a little tight on you. If you had plans already to lose some weight maybe hold on to it and do that and see how it feels?
