Super heavy weight wool overcoat for under $600.00?

Im looking for a very heavy weight overcoat, the same weight as the material used in the old peacoats, but a full length overcoat. I want something custom tailored because I have a broad chest and a smaller waist with short arms so stock sizes do not fit me well at all. Schott can make a custom coat exactly to my specifications with everything I want using the same weight wool as the old WWII peacoats (32 ounce Melton, instead of the current issue 24 ounce) for $650.00.

The Schott coat is exactly what I want...but its quite pricey. Can anyone else think of any othe manufacturer that could make this type of coat cheaper, or is Schott my best bet??
