If you can find a copy of Adolphe Menjou's autobiography it is a very good read. There was nary a satorial arts establishment he did not patronize.

I used to watch a short lived TV show he had in the early 50's called "My Favorite Story". It was an anthology of various short stories, done in a half hour. He would occasionally act in one. Very classy guy indeed.
BTW, if you look at some of the threads covering formal wear, you'll see several images of men in black tie and straw boater back in the 20's and 30's. It was a shock to me at first also. But you'll quickly get used to it. It's a cool look.
