Just picked this up. It is like 'Smoking Jackets" I've admired on Ebay which sold for three digits usually. Actually seems too long to be a 'jacket' and too 'smoking' to be a robe. 
Classic old movie stuff here.
If someone wants to buy this more than I want to keep it then it's meant to be. It'll take $75, shipping included, to pry this from my mitts, and still I think that's a heckuva deal for what it is.
Zero damage or worn spots. Impressive clean, ready-to-wear vintage condition. No branding labels to place its age but of such obvious high quality that it's hard to imagine this being modern. The first thing which struck me was that the garment has significant weight to it without being thick. The thing just feels rich. Photobucket seems to make reds look too orange. This robe is deepish red, red, red.
Being a robe, I'd say it would successfully fit any man from size 38 to 44.

Shawl collar, structured shoulders, elegant pattern, black lining inside, and best of all; it is a vintage SMOKING jacket that doesn't smell SMOKEY. Well, not yet anyway. Buy it before I get attached to it and start to use it with my pipes and cigars...
