I thought I would put a specific face on an ad in the Hat Life Thread. First here is the ad:

I was going to ash can it at first because it came with a few other hats that I actually wanted but then I looked it over and it has some value as a sun hat. Then I saw the ad and now it is a better part of my collection with proof of its maker. :cheers1:

It looks good now but when I got it it was a mess. Thanks to my wife it looks that good after an ironing with the right sized small iron. :cool2:
I decided to wear it today. Its warm enough here.

Thanks John! Number 3 does look exactly like my hat. I am wearing it as I type. :arated: Not bad at all for a hat that is over fifty years old and still kicking. :cool2: I guess that $3 was well spent. As I said, it came with three other hats. One of them is an Equadorian Hat Company Milan. I will have to post pictures of that hat's unique way of keeping your head cool in a warm climate.
I decided to collect a few vintage straws for the approaching summer. No need to look like a slob in the summer and spring.
Keep those cool ads coming. :arated:
