Seller claims this unusual flat cap is made from a thin flexible straw. Not sure about this, though. I have a similar vintage cap, made in Japan, and I honestly have no idea what material it's made of. I don't think it's straw, looks more like some early man-made material to me. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can shed a light on this?
The cap appears to be unworn and has the desirable higher back shape with a buckle back. Too large for me or I would snatch it up myself.
