Great jacket there Sloan (saying this with a Cordo Bootlegger myself [emoji12])

It's made me realise what a double edge sword living so near to Aero must be. Being able to just walk in and try on a heap of readily available jackets.....Sometimes I think its the long wait that saves me making impulsive and expensive decisions.

Nice jacket Sloan although for me it looks a bit too roomy. Especially in that picture from the back, it almost looks like it has a bi-swing where there is so much excess leather.

It's a bad photo more than anything, as it sits flat when it's on and it's comfortable, which is the main thing for me.

As long as you are happy with it.

I am thinking of visiting aero in a couple of weeks myself. My brother has conveniently moved up that way and I'm making the journey up.

All comments are welcome. I certainly wouldn't have taken it if I thought it was too much at the back. I predict penury if you now have the pretext for visiting the factory. The problem is that you start to consider things that you previously hadn't: the Dehen biker jumpers for instance. I tried one on and it's an amazingly robust piece of kit. No wonder they used to wear them as protective wear back in the day!

I've been hgoping the Dehen will go on sale..... I'd rather like one, but unfortunately the weak pound means they're coming in just rather more of a retail price than I could justify..... I mean, that's halfway to a new jacket.....

The Bootlegger looks fantastic. Great choice. The sole thing I regretted with mione was not going just one size bigger so I'd have more space to cinch in the waist, but that's by the by. A real favouirite over time. Definitely a design I'll revisit in future..... I'm seeing botha Winter version with a shearling lining and a Summer one in Goat, with a D-pocket and zip sleeves....

The Earnheart is interesting. Is it gonig to be marketed as a ladies' jacket? It does look like it could be unisex - effectively a zip-up A1. If memory serves, Amelia's original jacket was a man's jacket (ladies, in those days, not being "supposed" to be doing those sorts of things and thus specialist clothing for those activities not being produced for women). I'd certsinly wear one like it myself. Actually, it's another one that I think would be a good candidate for the shearling lining, for a short Winter jacket....

Suspect you're right about the Earhart jacket being a unisex jacket. That one was tagged as a man's 36, but I could see it translating easily into a ladies size as well.

Jacket looks great on you, even though I have to agree that the back looks very wide compared to how tight it fits in the front. I guess the pattern has a very v-shaped backpiece. It kind of makes you looking from behind as if you benched 280 pounds, which is not necessarily a bad thing. :D

I also like these new designs with the very different zipping all the way up collar. Never fancied the A2 collars very much but now that this is coming, I might get an Aero flight jacket after all. If they mod the pockets a bit, it actually will look very much like the Casino Royale jacket which is the first thing I had to think of and which I have looked up a few hundred times in the past year on the Magnoli website.

though I'm still very much up for the Royale even if my bank manager isn't!
I have liked the Royale ever since Aero introduced it to their range but kind of went off it a little simply cos no one else seems to have shown any interest in it or brought one. Hope to see some pics and a review if you ever do get one.

Will do. It's interesting how being able to see a jacket 'in the wild' can swing somebody's choices, isn't it? Unfortunately, the one factory version that Aero had in the factory had been sold at the beginning of the week, so I haven't been able to handle one.

Thank you, SPX, though I will continue to envy your fine collection of jackets and boots! Nick, the rug is all part of the overall look!

Does look cool on you, @Sloan1874. As does the Ken repro model: could see myself being suckered by one of those. And the Earhart should go down a treat with the ladeez.

I do reserve judgment on the brown swirly carpet, but you can't have everything.
