Stetson Conversion

Let me begin by introducing myself: My name is Brian, and I am thrilled to have found this forum. I have been a "hat guy" since I made my father buy me my first Ivy cap when I was seven.

Anyway, I had a Stetson 4X western style hat sitting in my closet that I hadn't worn in over ten years, and couldn't see my self wearing again anytime soon. I took it to Gary White in Buffalo and he did this:





I was so pleased with his work I went ahead and ordered a custom job from him. It'll be a long eight weeks...

I haven't been to Gary's shop, but have heard good things about him. I have been in Dave Brown's shop (Henrietta, NY) several times and he's quite the interesting character, but his hats are superb.
