I try and stay away from Wally World. The entire weirdo contingent seems to congregate in these stores.

That said, American Wal-Marts are much classier than Canadian ones, now what does that tell you?

Something about that website makes me feel kind of nauseous, and it's not the atrocious outfits those people are wearing. I guess it's the overt classism coupled with the creepy voyeurism that bothers me about it. The style and tone also remind me of those websites where men put up photos of women who have visible cellulite in public, without the women's permission.

I walk around looking weird and ridiculous all the time, and often people take my picture without my permission. (If you are a flamboyant vintage-wearer, the same might have happened to you.)

Usually they try to do it covertly! It's a really creepy thing to do in my opinion!

Sometimes I wonder how they would react if I took out a camera, walked over and took a photo of them. ("Can't wait to put this on my blog! www.d-bagsirunintoinpublic.com/blog")

It's just another method that we as a society have decided is ok....the 'let me gain my amusements from the misfortune/mishaps/tactlessness of others' as an amusement form, instead of anything of real value or contribution to society, we all sit looking at 'how those other folks are today'

Maybe we just all do it to feel better about ourselves, who knows.

I kinda dig my local Target. It has one of those snack counters at the front of the store, with molded-plastic furniture bolted to the floor and hot dogs and pretzels ("ya want salt on that?") and ice cream and such. I can't partake of much of its offerings (f*#@in' doctors), but its just being there brings me comfort. This is my life; these are my people. This is my Target store, and that's my minivan parked over there.

Life is so good in America.

I feel shame, I admit, I have seen and found myself turning page after page - I mean - it's a trainwreck.

Wear underwear, people.

Anyway, it is rude and probably illegal to take such photo's and publish them, plus, isn't the nudity, indecent exposure, and isn't it technically porn to post some of these underwear-less people without warning.
