This gray Portis Supreme fits tightly on my 7 1/2 LO head. I think it
would be fine for a 7 1/2 regular oval or possibly even a 7 3/8 head.
Roughly 23" around. Brim is 2 1/2" or just shy of that.
This is a relatively tough, stiff, heavy hat- well built in every respect.
I'm guessing it's from the 1950s.
There is some light mothing on the crown, all within about a half
inch of the ribbon. I bet you could brush and work it so the mothing
disappears (the felt is much thicker and tougher than the mild mothing).
I can try to take pix of the mothing if someone is serious.
There are a couple of very small stains inside the liner and the green
in the logo has spread for some reason (wrong ink used?), but is not
transferring.
So I'm not saying it's perfect, but I suspect no one will notice
any of that. I also suspect this hat is so well made it'll outlast
most hats. BTW, the white spot at the bottom of the brim barely
visible in this picture is part of the felt.
$60 plus $12 Parcel Post CONUS.
