//SOLD// 7 1/8 British Fedora - 1940s //SOLD//

Herein another 7 1/8. This one is British, made by Woodrow hats, Piccadilly. Sold by Rubins mens shop in Port Elisabeth (I assume South Africa). The felt on this hat is among the softest and most luxurious i've held in a British hat. Truly beautifully made.

It is marked UK size 7 (US 7 1/8) on an interior label and fits true to size. Not so large as the Penney's Marathon "Whippet Clone", but still a bit loose on a 7 L.O. head. I can't find any damage to the hat. Could probably do with a good brushing. The pinch in front is a very tight one (this is as found and lends a rather "Indy" feel to the hat.

Raw edge 2 & 1/2" brim and ~4 & 1/2" crown at the sides as currently bashed. The ribbon measures 1 & 1/4". Interior measures 7 & 7/8" front to back and 6 & 1/4" side to side. Interior measures approximately 22". There can be no returns based on condition or size.

£30 for the hat and £10 shipping to the US. UK shipping to be determined. I prefer a cheque from the UK but can accept paypal. Paypal best for all other destinations though a small fee will be added to cover Paypal fees. PM with interest.

Baron,

'Twill persuade me to get a haircut...

I think it will fit me with a bit of a push. I tend to wear a brimmed hat a bit higher up my head than many people nowadays - rather like men used to do in the old days, I think.

Cheque on its way this week-end, thanks.
