I have a really lovely French hat for sale. I think it's from the 40s, at latest, and probably earlier. The beautiful French felt that we know and love is long hair-type finish. Under the sweatband it's marked "5, 57" on a little square label. So 7 1/8 for you Americans, and a British 7. It fits appropriately - slightly large on my 7 (US) LO head. No mothing, no stains that i can see on the felt. It does have a ring around the brim where it has rested inside a hat box. The Brosson box pictured is not included.

Measures 5" crown and 2.25" brim.
