(SOLD) 3-Piece Pinstripe Suit Dated 1950 - size 42 (SOLD)

This suit is beautifully made and is in pristine condition. The fabric is a dense, winter-weight wool in dark blue with a lighter stripe and a thin burgundy stripe. The trousers are fairly high waisted with a flat front, a double button closure and buttons for braces.

I wear a size 40 and it's way big on me so I'm guessing it's about a size 44. It may look like it almost fits me in the first photo, but the jacket shoulders are quite a bit wider than my shoulders on either side. Here are the measurements:

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back: 19"
Armpit to armpit across the back: 23"
Sleeve length: 25.5"
Top of collar to bottom of jacket: 32.5"
Trousers waist: 36.5 with enough fabric to let out another 2"
Inseam: 30.5", no cuffs, 2+" turn-up
Rise (crotch seam to waist): 14.5"

$100 plus postage. If you're in the SF Bay Area (or anyplace between here and there), I'm driving down in September and could bring it with me.
