I have a black Select Quality Stetson from the late 1920s-1930s, size 7 1/8 for sale. Condition is excellent.
Gentlemen, this is an absolute beauty. God, i wish it fit me but it's simply too big. It rides on my ears, and i already have a 20s black stetson, so i'll pass this one along to one of you lucky gents.
The felt rivals any Borsalino that i've held (but then i'm biased towards the Stetson felt). Not so soft, perhaps as some Borsalinos, but really beautiful to the touch.
Brim Width: ~2 1/2"
Crown height (unbashed): ~5 1/2"
Ribbon: 2"
Edging: Thin grosgrain ribbon.
Condition: Wonderful. A small moth nibble (~1mm, ~1/25") on the underside of the brim which is associated with what looks like a samll dirty area which will clean up. basically invisible when worn.
Here're the pics:
PM me for pricing.
