A beautiful heathery brown jacket from the middle 1940s (probably). The cut is identical to one I have that's dated 1946. This is a true classic.
Asking £45 as it's not in perfect condition. Shipping to be determined by destination. PM with interest. Mario has first dibs, Pip has second dibs. Other interested folks will be added to the list after those two chaps. The left arm has a small area of wear at the cuff, meaning the jacket would be perfect for someone who'd need to shorten the arms slightly or for someone who can live with the little bit of wear.
Here's a list of the issues, none of which are serious and do not detract from the look of the jacket.
Left arm wear to cuff hem
Right arm small hole on rear
Left front minor snag at dart
Right front snag below ticket pocket
Rear - flaw in cloth (a bit like a slubbed spot where the fabric has a knot in it) and 1 snag about half way down
Liner and pocket bags in fine condition
Measurements
Chest: 20.5" flat across
Arm: 25.75"
Length: 29.25"
Shoulder: 18.5"
Ticket pocket is a nice touch:
Twin rear vents:
The true colour:
