//SOLD//1940s Bill Taylor custom fedora 7 3/8 //SOLD//

The latest in the clearout of the closet of B. Kurtz. This one is way too big for me. Does not come with hat box.

'Tis a light grey hat with a 1" red/maroon ribbon and cream-ish edge binding. The hat is a light grey, but has definite hints of a purple-ish tint. It's labelled a size 7 3/8 and was made in the 40s by the Bill Taylor Mfg. Co. The brim measures 2 13/16" and the uncreased crown is about 5 1/2". The [very rough] interior measurement is about or just over 23". And it fits like a 7 3/8 going by how loose it is on my size 7 head. It could do with a cleaning and brushing. There's a little bit of wear on the sweatband but nothing serious. The liner is topped with that discoloured celluloid liner-top.

The liner reads

Here's the labels under the sweatband. In different places under the liner at the back of the hat.

PM for details. I'm not asking much on this one.
