//SOLD// 1920s/30s Newsboy Cap #2 - size 7 to 7 1/8 //SOLD//

I have too many caps, so I'm selling off most of them and only keeping a few of my favourites.

The second for sale is a beautiful 1920s or 1930s newsboy cap in very interesting fabric. The fabric is an amazingly colourful mix of cream base with black and orange flecks, and the very strident blue and red twisted stripes emanating from the crown button. Another one with a fantastic satin crown liner. It was made, I think I read right, by a company called E W Kibbin, Distinctive Headwear. There are no condition issues other than a little wear (shining) to the cream sweatband.

The fit is somewhere between a 7 and 7 1/8. It's good on my 7 LO head, and caps are quite forgiving in terms of sweatband circumference. I think a size 7 1/8 could wear this without discomfort. I measure the circumference 3 times - 22.25", 22", an 22.25" giving the average as 22.167". The widest part of the crown (i.e. across the crown button) measures 10.5" side to side and 10.5" front to back.

I'd like $100 US for the hat. PM if you're interested and with any questions. Shipping will be extra, and to be determined by the buyers location. It will not be expensive to ship.
