Socks. Let's See 'Em

I've always been a very simple guy when it comes to socks, aside from when I'm wearing a suit or dressed up I usually only wear Black, Heather Gray or White sweat socks.

I'm looking to expand my style and I'm curious to see some of your socks. Classic, simple, clean.

Wow, garters AND long johns.
I used to be totally addicted to Argyles. Then I went through a boring black crew sock phase. I just got some new RL Argyles, but nothing worth posting. What I'd like to find would be a pair or two of vintage style knee socks that would go with a 20's style pair of linen plus fours, and some nice heavy wool ones for cold weather use. Any ideas?

I wear Long Johns almost all the time apart from the very warm days of the year. I like the vintage traditional style with Brace tapes..

I ALWAYS wear Sock suspenders as I cannot abide my socks falling down
So, todays socks are Hilditch and Key Burgundy, supported by Albert Thurston Burgundy sock suspenders

Further to that.. I'm keen to hear how many of the members here just throw all their socks into a drawer and how many of you have them all neatly arranged by style colour etc etc..

I'm in the process of diversifying my rather plain casual sock wardrobe with argyles and other patterns. For dress socks, I like clocks or pin dots, but I have a pair with a self colored herringbone pattern that I rather like.
