Sixe JAPANESE HORSEHIDE JACKET QUESTION

Hey gurus
Picked up a Japanese horsehide jacket from eBay as I liked the style of it...kind of different from the classic horsehide jackets..
The leather is soft and nice but interestingly the leather has a pattern like a fabric, like twill threads running through it.
Does anyone know anything about this leather or the jacket?

I guess it's printed? Haven't seen this type of print on any leather though, let alone on horsehide.
Interesting that they chose to apply the patch pockets with the print in a different direction.

Yeah...could be. That was my reason to buy it as it looked so different. Kind of a denim jacket look to it..

Yeah...the whole jacket seems embossed. Also soft almost like lambskin.
