Simonds 8-Dart Casquette 7 5/8 (61)

I love this cap. Barry made it for me last December. I just can't seem to pull it off tho. Worn literally less than a half dozen times, this 8-dart flat cap is in excellent condition and ready for a home it deserves. Made from navy blue Melton wool, and sized 7 5/8 (61cm).

Funds to be redistributed towards the purchase of another one of his creations.

I thought that too and started with a Stetson cap then moved on to a flat cap made by Herringbonekid which makes quite a statement and I don't wear the tiny modern Stetson anymore. I'm looking forward to buy one from Keith!

It's hard to explain; certain hats just feel off on me and this is one of them. Have the same experience with fedoras, ball caps etc.

If I were truly honest with myself I'd chalk it up to my insecurity about my pumpkinhead. But that'd assume I think about my big fat pumpkinhead regularly which I.... no wait, never mind.

I'm 5'9" and have a 63cm. noggin (7 7/8). I saw an article recently affirming what I'd always supposed - that those of us blessed with larger heads have superior brainpower and higher IQ's. Now, think about this: if you had huge muscles you wouldn't hide them, would you? Women go crazy over them. How much more crazy would they go after a guy with greater brains and therefore greater earning power? Be proud of your superior organ! If I were you, I'd not only keep that extremely cool hat, but I'd paint, in big fat white numbers, 7 5/8!

Do damned bad that cap is not a 7 1/2 I'd already jumped on buying for my Husband. A great looking cap should look good on anyone. Good luck with the sale of it.

I measure the crown at 12"; think if it were 11" (or even 11.5") it'd be a keeper for me....
