I purchased this jacket new last fall. After much hand wringing, I finally accepted that it is just too small for me, particularly in the chest. The jacket is tagged a size 44, but I would venture to say it is closer to a size 42 or even a large size 40.

The jacket itself is flawless. It’s in fantastic condition. The jacket’s shell is thick, black Shinki horsehide. If you’ve never smelled Shinki leather, it has a very pleasurable odor. The jacket’s lining is OD cotton drill. It has one inside pocket with a snap closure. The main jacket zipper is a Riri zipper. The other zippers are Talon repro zippers. The jacket has two zipped horizontal breast pockets and two zipped handwarmer pockets.

Asking $750 shipped.

Measurements:

Pit-to-Pit: 21.5”
Shoulders: 19”
Length: 25.5”
Sleeve Length: 25.5”

That is a super tight 44. I’m a 40 and those numbers line up for me. Beautiful jacket though, the Simmons Bilt is my favourite of the J-100’s.

I can vouch for how good the SB Shinki is pity they don’t seem to offer it anymore, wish I could fit into those measurements
