Most grainy jacket I have owned is my Goodwear A1. The grain was even more pronounced when it was new, but with about 5 years of intermediate wear the grain has softened a bit while still being pronounced. It is even staring to take a nice fade in the high wear areas but the capeskin is so soft and buttery it really doesn't take sleeve creases.

I got this one courtesy of Casechoppers weight loss, I had Dina swap out the buttons..
Visually I think it’s a clone of the Himel Heron.. but with LW Horsehide

Yes I remember the origins. For years he had a rather beautiful one on his website. I have not been there recently. What is the size and what weight do you think it is?

The leather is similar to that in my other LW's ( suburban's & easy ryder)... could be 3-4oz leather plus a nice thick wool lining.. it's definitely a head turner
