That's one stunning jacket! If that was my size I'd be seriously tempted! Looks like its crying out for some Pecards though, or would that devalue it? Good job it's too small, I won't have to worry about it

Personally if it was mine and I was going to wear it I would treat it straight away but if I was selling it as this guy is I'd leave it as it is. Not sure if it would devalue it but you could imagine some collectors wanting in this condition.

It is, but still pretty thick. Deerskin is really nice, I'm surprised it isn't used more often.

Can anyone advise as to what thickness or heaviness the vintage horse hide on some of these is? It seems that many vintage jackets use a thinner hide than we tend to use today.
