One of my favorite shows of all time. I met Mister Ed (not his stand-in) at the local YWCA during the show's original run, and he did some of the tricks that he performed on the show. It was a thrill-and-a-half for a young kid.

I wonder what happened to old Ed after the show.
Oh geez, I looked it up and it is a tangled web. Suffice it to say that he died in 1970 and his publicity stand in died in 1979. RIP Bamboo Harvester.:(
