You mean a sleepy little pueblo? lol
Yes. Before the Sodom that it became.

The handpainted one is a Hollyvogue Handpainted in California. The swirly one's label says "Deutsch Clo. Co. Flandreau S. Dakota. I've never heard of it myself. but it has some awesome Jacquard printing on it that doesn't show up in the pics.
I saw a few gems in here, so I thought I'd take a gamble! When it comes in I will share my findings!

Speaking of Hollyvogues, had my eye on this one for some time but haven't pulled the trigger (it's $12 but I usually try not to pay more than 10 for a tie if I can help it)
Man, that's a beauty! Is it being sold buy a store?
Made in corrupt post-war California?

Goodness, that almost sounded like a question made by a Soviet official in the late-1940s.... :eeek:

No labels on it---darn it. If it was made here then it would be made in the less- corrupt-than-now post war California.
you mean no hippies then??
It always fascinates me when I find a tie with a label of a small town clothing store....like this one from out in the Great Plains...and wonder how it ended up a thousand miles away.
