The handpainted one is a Hollyvogue Handpainted in California. The swirly one's label says "Deutsch Clo. Co. Flandreau S. Dakota. I've never heard of it myself. but it has some awesome Jacquard printing on it that doesn't show up in the pics.

It always fascinates me when I find a tie with a label of a small town clothing store....like this one from out in the Great Plains...and wonder how it ended up a thousand miles away.

Speaking of Hollyvogues, had my eye on this one for some time but haven't pulled the trigger (it's $12 but I usually try not to pay more than 10 for a tie if I can help it)

I saw a few gems in here, so I thought I'd take a gamble! When it comes in I will share my findings!

That looks to be an amazing find at an amazing price. The brown plaid Wembley that can be seen in the photos looks good. I noticed that there are a few green ties in there: I'm sure there is an ad in the classifieds with someone looking for a vintage green wool or cotton tie for their wedding. So you might find a home for those ones if you don't want them.

I look forward to seeing these posted on this thread.

Well done.

It's a fun concept that a store would have their label sewn into a tie so it can direct you back to where you bought it. These days few cars have their dealership name plate on the back of the hood anymore just a license plate frame saying i stole my car from so and so's.

I got a tie that's a bold look and it has a store label that's in my town of Covina. Some men's store that closed ages ago. The store had someone as buyer selecting some really great stuff. So they saw a great tie and thought that little slice of heaven needs to be here for the locals to enjoy.
