I know, i know. I need to get some. But i have more important things i need at the moment, so shoe trees will have to wait unless i can find some cheap ones to keep in them until i can get better ones.Tomasso said:I have two words for you Wolfey; Shoes Trees!

Those are cheap? What am i getting into?? 18 dollars times 5 pairs of shoes is $90!Bruce Wayne said:
In the short term you could probably get away with two, maybe even one pair of trees. It's most important that the tree be used immediately after wearing until the shoes are thoroughly dry. Depending on how long they were worn and/or how wet they are (from perspiration, rain, snow, etc...) that could take anywhere from overnight to 24 hours, or longer. Once the shoe is thoroughly dry the need for trees is less important. They can be removed and used on other shoes.WolfeMan said:What am i getting into?? 18 dollars times 5 pairs of shoes is $90!

Also, leather shoes need to rest between wearings. Wearing the same shoe everyday will dramatically decrease the useful life of the shoe. Every other day should be the very minimum.
that's just what I do too. I thought I was being a cheapskate but now I feel vindicated only owning one pair of shoe treesBruce Wayne said:True. A person only really needs one pair of shoe trees. What I do is when I take off a pair of shoes is I stick the trees into the shoes & leave them there until the next day when I remove them & put them in the latest pair that I have worn.
