I was going through some old photos today and ran across this one. I took this photo with an old Kodak 620 camera back around 1988 or 1989. I don't recall the kind of film I was shooting that day or what settings I was using, but whatever it was it came out pretty good (at least I think it did). The boy in the photo is my son (he's 33 years old now) and we were out doing some hiking along the Linville River in western NC. I wish I could find the negative, because the print has some scratches and a stain or two. But, after all these years I guess I'm lucky to still have anything.




I take my prints to local pharmacy. They have a photo section .
They can make a negative & remove the scratches & stains.

With photo-shop, I took some scratches off. They can do 100% better.

btw: If my prints were half as good as yours...I would be very happy. :)

Couldn't resist another shot of the Peak. The snow and the contrasting Blue Spruce, plus the menacing clouds. You can see why Zebulon Pike, initially thought it would be easy to climb it! It sure doesn't look like it is miles away and over 8,000 feet more to go up.
