Inspired by Walter's pics. Here's one that's vintage...in spirit anyway!

I haven't been around in awhile and was catching up on this thread. Many beautiful guns posted since I last visited!

I noticed there have been a lot of snubbies posted lately. Here is my contribution.

1961 Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight. When I found it the finish was gone on it. It look like it had been carried a lot but shot very little. I cleaned it up the best I could then sent it off to Birdsong for their Black-T finish. Black-T can be applied to both steel and aluminum so the finish on the cylinder and frame now match perfectly. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it before but it was in horrible shape. Normally I wouldn't refinish an older firearm but in this case I thought it couldn't hurt. The grips are original with the serial number on them. The last picture of it is with an El Paso Saddlery holster.

Here is another submission for the thread. I had this out last night to clean and snapped a few pictures of it. The pictures don't do it justice. The lighting makes it look like there is some holster wear but there is not. The blueing is beautiful on this pistol. It is a 1969 T-Series Browning Hi Power. I found it about 10 years ago at an estate sale. It was still in its Browning pistol rug with 2 mags and the manual. Looked like it had never been shot. The grips are custom made by Marschal Grips.

Look what followed me home!! A S&W model 65 with a 3 inch barrel and a Ruger Speed Six with a 2 3/4 inch barrel. Also picked up a S&W M&P Victory Revolver with a 2 1/2 inch barrel. It needs some TLC before I post some pictures of it.

I reacquired a M-65 last year after foolishly parting with the one I bought new back in the '80s - the 3" K-frames were some of the best revolvers S&W ever made. I had a Speed-Six back in the day too and it was also traded off for something I can't remember. Congrats on two (three) great finds!
