Picked this up today at Books a Million. Some good articles on some classic weapons. Just FYI

Funny how the Tommy-gun, which was used the least to kill during any era, is still the gun most associated with the Gangster era!

Here's a little Cold War cutie:

found it at a local Gun Show this morning, original box, papers, spare extended mag. oil bottle and brush (somewhere?)

It actually works too!

I actually think it's a neat little thing. I prefer my pistols with a little more grip, but this little shooter is adorable!

. "The biggest enemy of the firearms business isn't anti-gunners, it's the used gun market!"

And I generally ( and I said generally!!!) will not even consider the purchase of a firearm unless it is at least 60 years old. Having set at the bench, so to speak, I have my own opinions concerning modern firearms. Curmodgeon that I am, I'm a very biased fellow! :D

Then again, I really don't "need" anything else in the genre. LOL! But on the occasion, I always seem to drag another one home. :)

I couldn't agree more. I have an 85 year old Mosin Nagant that I love. Also a .32 Colt pocket pistol about the same age that belonged to my grandpa.
My new fangled M and P 9 however, has given me nothing but headaches! Failure to feed in all 3 of the magazines I have for it, causing a potentially fatal jam after firing 12 rounds, and Smith and Wesson's solution did not fix the problem. I need to replace that plastic piece of junk with something in 9 mm,...but my dilemma is,..what? I'm thinking maybe a Beretta 92 or perhaps the Taurus version of it. [huh]

I have an FEG Hi-power (unlicensed clone). It has gorgeous deep blue, almost black bluing. They used to run about $200-250, and it runs great. Try to find an early serial #, as the QC was better on these.

(Sorry for the poor pic. That's not rust on the slide, just a weird reflection)

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll be checking out a hot local pawn shop here in town that sells a lot of new and used guns. :)
Cabela's has their "Gun Library" here too, but the selection is limited and prices outrageous more often than not.
