The skirt is McCall 9005 and the top is a modern pattern, Jalie scarf top.

Yes, I got them at a store called "Comfort One". They are ok, but I still have to put in an arch support. So far, the best solution is my Muffy's with orthodics.

Summer shorts made from 30s pajama bottom pattern:

I would have liked to make the long version, but I didn't have enough fabric and I figured it would be nice to make a pair of shorts for the summer. Overall, I guess it's not great looking, but very comfortable and also I love the drapey rayon fabric I used.

Kamikat, I wish I could afford to hire you as my own personal seamstress. I always love seeing your outfits!

Thanks!! I used a quilter's cotton and went down one pattern size....no alterations and it went together pretty quickly. Can't wait to toodle around in it on my bicycle in it tonight! :)

I thought about picking up that pattern but decided I have too many right now. lol like that's ever *really* stopped me before

thanks C-dot :) it's an easy dress to make, lots of darts but I must be getting better at them because I didn't have to redo any of them lol

That is darling! I had the same problem with a rayon linen blend 2 piece I was working. I put it on the UFO pile instead of persevering, like you did.
