OK...since I have a jacket similar to a jacket in this post, and since I've been meaning to post mine, and since I am totally clueless at the different flyer-type of jackets, tell me what I've got.
It's definitely not vintage. I've had it about 15-16 years - my partner was on a singing tour in the Orient and surprised me with this. The move from Long Beach in sunny, warm Southern California was already in the final planning stages, which made life in Seattle seem like something akin to winter in the Klondike. I've always said wearing it makes me look like I should be jumping into a Sopwith camel to do battle with the Red Baron, or a Japanese Zero ready to kamikaze some transport ship - all I need is the silk scarf.
