Salv mentioned them in another thread, and I decided to check out their new CD for myself. WHOAH! Amazing authentic sounding Soul and R&B.

They'll be in London at the Jazz Cafe in April, and I'll definitely be there. I saw them once before at the Cafe and it was an excellent old-fashioned soul show. Sharon really works hard on stage and the Dap-Kings are currently the best R&B band around IMO. The new album, 100 Days 100 Nights, while not quite as good as their previous album Naturally, is still head and shoulders above most other current R&B.
