Does anyone know how to shape the crown of wool hat fedora’s, into designs, like a heart, cactus , arrows etc.. I have been doing this by hand and it is working on the heart shape however it could be better, I know there are hat blocks out there but I have not found these shapes, any suggestions ? Thank you

Are you using lots of steam? Are you giving it a spritz of water before you steam? How malleable are you getting the felt before you begin the shaping?
