Hi Folks:
Just HAD to share this with you guys ~ I bought a pair of Red Wing work boots about 10 years ago. They were made in the USA, and cost a small fortune at the time, probably $150.00. Anyway, I was wearing them on a very hot day recently, and the soles seperated from the boots. Anyway, I took them back to the Red Wing store, and the clerk took a look at them and said, " No problem, the boots will go back to the factory today. We will repair, recondition, and get them back to you in a week". When I asked about the cost, he said, "No charge. These are made in the USA, and we gaurantee them. Period". I had them back in four days. They looked as good as new, had a great shine, and even a new pair of laces! You don't find that kind of service anymore!!
Best,
TomS

I just bought a pair of USA made redwings for work and I could not be happier. The fit, finish and comfort is better than any pair of boots I have had in the past. The price was steep ($229.00) but I'm willing to pay it for boots (mostly) made in the USA.

I am getting a new pair soon. My work boots last if I am lucky 2 years. Red Wing is a division of the parent company that I work for so we get boots at a discount at the local Red Wing store.:)
