I would like to attach (sew?) a leather patch, (305GB heavy), to the front of a ELC B3. I know, I know it wasen't often done. My Son lives in Switzerland and works in the mountains on the French border. He wants folks to know that his Grandfather played a part in preventing the French from speaking German. hahahaha.

I have done lots of sewing on A2s with a sailmakers machine but am reluctant to try to sew thru fleese. So, any guidence?

Dad flew for the 8th AAC, 305th BG (heavy), 364th SQ out of Chelveston.

You could use small snaps . . .like in the tropical theatres . .. Could all be hand done this way with a minimum of holes
