All things you find in better suits... all things you probably won't find in suits currently from Sears. You don't see much mention of armhole pads which keep down the wrinkles though they aren't needed as much with modern larger armholes as the hole jacket moves with the arms.

Lapels from almost all department stores are fused with glue and very little stiching is used... because of the gluing they tend to curl forward on most modern suits... stitched allows it to settle comfortably against your chest.

Indeed. I already know about most of these things from Mahon's blog, but this is another good indication of, "They just don't make them like they used to!"
