My first post here in TFL Classifieds. I’ve been lurking for a while trying to find a jacket to switch out with my 141. Here it is…
Black 42 Long Schott 141 from a smoke-free home. Its been in my closet since 2018 when I purchased it at the Schott Store in Chicago. I have worn it briefly around a dozen times or so. Never in the rain or riding, or sweating or similar. I should have purchased a cross-zip (as the CR is just not my style) so I have been babying this in my closet knowing that I would sell it eventually when a suitable replacement came round.
Looking to get $450 ppff (or +3%) including shipping CONUS to cover the cost of its successor.
It's in close to new condition. The only real tell, is the beginnings of some creasing in the arms which you’d expect. All hardware is in perfect condition, no defects or wear to speak of in the leather, the lining of the jacket is also as new, and so is the zip-in liner.
I did not have a tailor's tape measure, and this is really my first time measuring a leather jacket, but you can see measurements in the attached pics, as well as on the manufacturer's website.
I know people comment about the 141 (Reg) being somewhat boxy, but I guess having the long kinda negates this in terms of fit. Sure the jacket and sleeves are longer, but it ends up being a somewhat fitted jacket in this size and length.
For reference, I’m just under 6’2” @ 215lbs and it fits nicely without layering. Just snug but not tight, as is.
Measurements I took are as follows.
PtP -22.5
Back - 27”
Shoulder Seam to Seam - 19”
Sleeve - 26.5” (I used a string round the curve how you all prefer, then measured the string. The straight measurement is in the picture)
Waist - 21.5”
