Sawyer of Napa shearling coat

I picked this up today and was curious as to what I had. It's a Neiman labeled Sawyer of Napa suede shearling. Does anyone know anything about Sawyer? Best I can find they are no longer in business.

I lived in Napa in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Sawyer made some of the worlds finest sheared leather and lamb coats and jackets. back in the 80's one of there sheared coats went for $300 to $500 So its a great find. Sawyer closed there doors for good in 1990.
