hey,
I guess this is my first post at the lounge. I've been at COW for quite a bit, and have acquired quite a lot of indy gear in a short amount of time, including a Federation.
Anyway, I just won an auction for a brown royal stetson. Of course, the disadvantage of having just moved to Taiwan is that the shipping was 4 times the price of the hat! Well, I'm sure it will be worth it, as the price was only $6. I'm sure if more people looked at this particular auction, it would've fetched a much higher price tag. Atleast the seller wasn't very excited when he saw how much the auction ended for...I guess I'm just making up for it by paying for it to get to me. Anyways, here it is:

Oh, and can I have your opinions on this Pedigreed Thoroughbred hat?

Thanks,

Both those hats look like they are from the late 50's early 60's. Low crown short brim.

Sort of like what you see the blues brothers wear. Very big style when Kennedy was in office.

Not my style, but it was something (sean Connery) James Bond would wear.

Matt is right on the era so no comment there but I CAN tell you they are both quality hats. Good felt & good workmanship.
