I need to know, what kind of hat does Rick Grimes wear in The Walking Dead?

I know its a ridiculous question. I'm writing an essay on a related subject (which, in its way, is even more ridiculous).

I guess it's whatever is standard for US law enforcement - lots of Sheriffs' departments dres their men this way. But I dont know what is standard.

If he was a real cop, I'd guess a brown Stratton F-36AWL Western Style Hat w/ a gold cord with acorns. If it's Hollywood though, it may well be a custom. [huh]
