Ribbon for a hat

Hello all,

I'm looking for ribbon for several of the BCF hats I've done over. I'm currently using the readily available grosgrain ribbon (synthetic), but it won't "swirl" so I'm having problems getting it to lie correctly on the crowns of the hats. I've also tried grosgrain as brim bindings, and it puckers up something fierce.

What is the correct ribbon to use? Where can I get it in medium brown and black, about 1" wide for the ribbon, and 1/2 for the brim?

try JW hats in Salt Lake Lorne. You'll have to buy full rolls but it may be worth it to you.

I'll sale you a what you need to make the bow/ribbon for your hat band and what you need for a bound edge.

The hat band ribbon is 12 linge and the bound edge is 6 linge.
