Really interesting because it shows us clearly the quantity and quality of manufactures of hats in the golden years.
I found evidence of numerous French hats that I have in my collection.

Daniele, Thanks! Yes I have been looking for one of these for some time. Also this was the time when Austrian Velour dress hats started to become popular. There are advertisements for J. Hückel´s Söhne, A. Peschel and S. J. Fraenkel Wien.
