Retro with a twist

I ran across this website and laughed the whole time I was looking at it. Graphic artist Anne Taintor uses magazine images from the 50's (some may be earlier images) and turns them into magnets, notepads, cards and coasters. The pictures themselves are great, but what's so funny is the wicked little thoughts she puts on each one. One of my favorites is of a smiling hostess holding two drinks. Above her reads "guess where I'm tattooed". There are too many hilarious ones to list - check them out for yourselves here:

I've seen some of her products for sale in Borders before—they are pretty humorous!

This site made me laugh out loud--they are not retro but they do an excellent job of capturing the spirit of corporate America!
