This came in today. I don't think it's that old - anyone know when these went for $35? It says "A Byer-Rolnick Product".
It's a smooth felt, and was really easy to rebash without any steam. In general, it's a little stiff though.
Maybe it should be called the "not-so-wide country" since the brim is only 2 1/4"...

Joel, that is a good looking hat.:eusa_clap I really like the Resistols that I have, I have 2 with brown sweats and 1 with a black sweat. The felt on the ones with the brown sweats is softer than the felt with the black sweat.

Nice, nice hat. Very nice. I have been on the verge of getting my first Resistol fedora for years. Just have not found one in my size that I could live with. Looks like a nice view out those windows behind you also.

Not at all! In fact, I think it's a very common "vintage" manner of wearing a hat, and it's nice option to all those swooping brims that dominate. Great look, in MHO.:eusa_clap :D
