I guess you're interested in an Indiana Jones style fedora?

No, i need ordinary grey fedora with brimm turned down in the front and up in the back.

In fact i would like even much to buy one with brimm slopped in non-symmetrical way like on this picture :

But i cant find such anywhere :/

You have good taste. That's an Art Fawcett custom made hat for "Indycop". He, that is Indycop, named the hat "Remembrance". Everyone here either has or wants an Art Fawcett custom made hat. Then, once you have one, it seems you become addicted, and need at least a couple more. I don't have one yet, but will definitely have him make me "at least one". Here's his website:

Here's the thread about the hat, which may have been where you got the photo from[huh]:

Welcome to the Lounge Czulu. Have you considered an Akubra? They make very fine quality hats for the money and there are many different classical fedora styles that I think you will like, e.g. the Stylemaster, Bogart, Sidney, C.E.O. etc. For some, though, you may have to wait for three months to get the color you want.
Stylemaster:

Bogart:

Sidney:

C.E.O.:

Mustang already recommended the Federation, which happens to come in grey:

Hi Czulu, Welcome to the Lounge. I'm not sure if this question was directed at me or for the others, whom I can't speak for, but I do ship internationally, no worries.

Enjoy

Cześć - my Polish stops here:)

The prices are on the Vintage Silhouettes site - click on the Limited editions Gallery and choose the model it shows how many are left and how much they cost.
Art does ship to Hungary-I have so far 2 of his hats.
One is a limited edition the other was one of a kind - no worries if you see a hat that has run out of stock - Mr. Fawcett can deliver a very nice looking modification from the raw materials he has - and what raw materials, man oh man...
Art is patient and provides all details your bank asks when making an international payorder -
It is the logistics part that takes long and costs much.
You know you book the flight for your hat between Oregon and Central Europe - that is far.
Than come the customs - they also bite off some dollars:mad: .

BTW you will discover the beauties of bureaucracy.

But VS hats are is still worth it - I assume you are not swimming in money either so if you reach out to the opposite end of the world it should be something really worthwile.

Sending ugly hats, too small hats or whatever crap hats back to the seller frustrates - wasted money and time. I never had that experience with Vintage Silhouettes.

Art Fawcett hats are really worth it - AND THEY FIT.

That gentleman hatter also blocks fine Panama hats - also worth trying.

Regards:

Tom

Dzień dobry,

Welcome to The Fedora Lounge, Czulu!

You found two hats online (the Stetson "Temple" and the Miller).

I believe that since Miller is only a hat shop, they have someone else make the hats with the Miller name. And I believe that the Miller-name hats are made by the Canadian hatmaker Biltmore.

I own a Miller-name/Biltmore hat. The quality of this hat is very good.

I also own a Stetson fedora, the "Sovereign." The quality is also very good.

Many people here on The Fedora Lounge believe that older Stetsons were much better than modern Stetsons. Perhaps they are correct, but I have never found an older Stetson that was large enough for my head. :eusa_doh:

Donato suggests Akubra hats. I own two Akubra fedoras. They are very good hats. They also cost less than the Miller or the Stetson.

Donato's suggestions of the Akubra "Sydney" http://www.davidmorgan.com/product_info.php?products_id=92 and the Akubra "Stylemaster" http://www.everythingaustralian.com.au/shopexd.asp?id=535&ccode=1590&cat_id=2 are the two that you should think about. You can buy a "Sydney" in dark grey, or a "Stylemaster" in medium grey or light grey.

Art Fawcett's hats are masterpieces. They also cost two or three times more than the Stetson "Temple" or the Miller.

Hungary Tom is correct that Art's hats will fit perfectly. An Akubra hat will be slightly large for a few weeks, but then it will shrink, and fit your head very well. The Stetson and the Miller, which I own, did fit very well always.

But if I buy a Stetson hat, I want to buy at a hat shop, never from Internet. Why? A big company can make more mistakes. [huh]

Na zdrowie,
Mark
