Hah. Sproily and his seamstress friend from finland were far ahead of LVC.

Nice!
LVC's cords are the same cut and style as their 1920's chinos that they've been putting out for the last few seasons.
Some of my favorite pants.

To me they don't look to be LVC just button fly jean's. The stiching and finish is not there they don't look to be selvage from the photo's either.
An of coarse the big tip off is "1878 LVC STYLE" I love that touch LVC style good one.:)

I don't know a thing! I just found that on Style Forum. I don't see it online yet! But we know it's gotta be as much as if not more than the Japanese repros.

They have used this material before. I remember a different jacket on Ebay from a couple of years ago. And I just found this online:

It is a pretty simple thing to make as it´s not really fitted with his pretty boxy cut.
And the price for a RRL vest like this is imho absurd... speaking in "FL currency" it´s about 1/3 of an Aero jacket?

Artisanry spoken: Making a good shirt e. g. is much more ambitious like those vests.
Go to a tailor and let a vest like this made to measure for you... but you can´t shine with a RRL label this way:D

I would not be interested in the label. Just the vest.
This was work wear and therefore made for rough wear.
You could make this at a reasonable price and not be able to keep up with orders

That´s what I have supposed, speaks for you imho.
I have 2 yards John Molloy Tweed shipped to me in forrest green... this one may look good in a zippered version with one of my NOS conmar brass zippers.
I also have some brown herringbone tweed in stock with some nice vintage horn buttons... would be fine too.
I´ll see what I´ll try... but I won´t make it with those bias taped edges... there is no need to do it on a lined vest.

Rick: That´s a good recommendation for a budget vest!
