I have diligently searched and have not found any threads here on the refrigerator ware made by Hall China beginning in the 30's. These were sets of storage dishes that were "gift" items with the purchase of Westinghouse, GE, Hotpoint, etc. refrigerators.

Here's the "Phoenix" set for Westinghouse that dates to 1937 and 1938.

I started collecting these dishes when we purchased a refrigerator with a glass door. My husband asked if I could find something more attractive than old yogurt cartons and actually put me onto this stuff. Predictably, the kitchen's now full of it.

Does anyone else here collect it? Have I missed the threads?

GE Refrigerator Ware

Here's the GE set by Hall China. Gray with yellow lids - probably from the early 50's.

And here's the stamp on the bottom.

Different sets were made for different refrigerator manufacturers.
