Reference Books for hat collecting

Hi there,

Does anyone have titles of books that are good reference for Stetson and Resistol cowboy hats?
I am interested in dating hats by the liner.
There used to be a website I could go to and date Stetson by the liner. That website no longer works
I come across old hats here in Texas from time to time.

My understanding was a that the books available don’t give us what most are looking for. It also seems that a lot of the information, once we get back a few decades, comes from a consensus of thought rather than absolute proofs or original source material.
