This is a hard to find original 1st pattern M1938 Mackinaw coat. It is in very good condition with a few very small issues.

All buttons are present on this example along with all belt loops. The shall collar is lined with wool as are the sleeves and the interior of the coat. It is a beefy piece of militaria and will keep its wearer very warm. Color is Olive Drab #3.

One minor moth bite on the back of the wool collar and minor stains throughout. The arms cuffs are lightly frayed as is to be expected. I am unable to find the tag and the belt is missing. A gentle hand washing wouldn't hurt.

This would make a wonderful display piece, a reenactment item or a wearable piece of history for the vintage enthusiast.

Size:
arms- 25.5"
length- 31.5"
pit to pit- 22"
shoulders- 18"

About size 40R-42R, check measurements to be sure.
