Red wing 2268 sizing in reference to blacksmith or iron ranger

Hi all

I am on a quest for a pair of RW 2268 engineer boots. I figured I would most likely be able to find them from Japan auction sites so nailing down the sizing becomes imperative as return is not a viable option.

If I wear size 8D RW blacksmith or iron ranger, what size is recommended for the 2268?

I have flat feet which also makes my feet slightly wider but not a lot as all of my footwear are D width.
